The Baylor Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) is undertaking a project to construct a new, larger building at Baylor University in Waco, TX, located at the corner of 4th Street and Daugherty Avenue. This 12,000-square-foot facility aims to provide a dedicated home for the expanding ministry, replacing their current shared space and offering amenities such as a large event room, offices, a prayer room, a common area with a coffee shop, and a space for training and community. The project broke ground on September 10, 2025, and is expected to be completed by the August of 2026.

The new Cultural Crossroads exhibit is approximately 9,800 square feet and will consist of a new open area for the exhibit, storage area and a volunteer/engagement space that will tie into the children's areas of the museum. The project scope of work includes the demolition of an existing exhibit and former shell and storage space. The new construction will create an exhibit space twice the size of the original space and reconfigure the museum's layout in this portion of the building to enhance visitors' overall experience at the Mayborn Museum.
